Q&A

Your Q, my A's. Here are the most frequently asked questions about our delicious yogurt. Do you have a different question please click Here and set him.

Question:

Answer:

Why is there salt attached?

Answer: Salt is added to strenghten the taste (not necessarily the sweetness), and also as "antifreeze". This makes the ice somewhat softer compared to when we don't add it.

Question:

Answer:

What is the added value of bean flour in all tastes?

Bean flour is used as a binder. You'd say it's not necessary if you freeze it, but it does contribute to the air storage while making the ice. Because the mix is thicker, it can hold more air. In addition, bean flour helps to counteract crystal growth in the freezer.

Question:

Answer:

What is the added value of the whey in all tastes?

Whey is added to increase the dry. This gives you a bit fuller ice cream, and it also seems less cold.

Question:

Answer:

What is Forest Varigato at the Beach break berries?

The Bosvruchtenvarigato is a raspberry sauce, blue berry, Burr and Aroniabes. This is ready to be mixed with the ice. Because there is also sugar in this sauce, the proportion of extra sugar added in the Beach break berries is lower than with the other flavours.

Question:

Answer:

Are all ingredients organic?

Of course, the recipes are notified to Skal. Non-organic ingredients should not be called organic. Sea salt alone is not organic, because this cannot be organic. After all, it is not grown... 😉

Question:

Answer:

Where do the ingredients come from?

The full yogurt is fresh organic yoghurt from Weerribben Zuivel from the village of Nederland in Overijssel. The mango comes from Colombia, the strawberries from Italy and from the forest comes the burr and the blue Berry from Friesland, the Aroniabes from Groningen and the raspberries from Poland.

Question:

Answer:

Why is your ice cream harder than other ice cream?

There are 2 reasons for this. First, at WCFY you get more ice for your money, because we have less air in our ice than competitors. Secondly, because we use less sugar, the sweeter the ice is the softer it is. TIP: Let the ice thaw for 10 minutes before you eat it.
